As an LPN nurse consultant, you may be called upon to train and support nurses and CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) in various settings to enhance their skills and ensure proper documentation. Here are some examples of how you can provide training and support:
1. Skill Training: Provide hands-on training to nurses and CNAs on various clinical skills, such as wound care, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and catheter care. Offer demonstrations, practice sessions, and feedback to help them improve their skills.
2. Documentation Guidance: Assist nurses and CNAs in understanding the importance of accurate and timely documentation. Provide training on proper charting techniques, documentation requirements, legal aspects of documentation, and electronic health record systems.
